Panchakarma is a rejuvenating and cleansing procedure for the body, mind, and consciousness. Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth are the five fundamental components that each human is a unique phenomena that manifests through, according to Ayurvedic teachings.
Each person has a different balance of the three doshas (tridosha) that result from the combination of these elements:Pitta, Kapha, and Vata. Disturbances in this doshic balance lead to dysfunction and eventually disease.
Since panchakarma is performed uniquely for each person, taking into account their unique constitution and particular disorder, it necessitates careful observation and supervision.Pre-purification measures called Snehan and Svedana are the first step in the panchakarma treatment in Lucknow. Next, cleaning techniques called Shodanas are used.
Recognizing the imbalance in your individual body is the first step toward healing.According to its own nature, each human constitution has a special vata, pitta, and kapha (VPK) balance. The natural order is this VPK equilibrium. An imbalance results in disorder when this doshic balance is upset.
Disease is disorder; health is order. Because order and disorder constantly interact inside the body, one can restore order if they comprehend the nature and structure of chaos. According to Ayurveda, disturbance can include order. In the language of Ayurveda Panchakarma, order is health.
This occurs when the fire of digestion (agni) is balanced; when the three waste products (sweat, urine, and feces) are produced and eliminated in a normal manner; when the seven bodily tissues (rasa, rakta, mamsa, meda, asthi, majja, and shukra/artava) are operating normally; when the mind, senses, and consciousness are coordinated.
The disease (disorder) process starts when there is an imbalance in these systems.
Initial cleansing Actions The body must be ready with recommended techniques to help it release the toxins before the purifying process starts. Snehan and Svedana are these two methods
Snehan is a massage using oil. With a specific kind of massage, oil is applied all over the body to facilitate the movement of toxins toward the gastrointestinal tract.
Additionally, oil massage softens and suppleifies both deep and superficial tissues, which supports and relieves the nervous system and reduces tension. As said, snehan is administered once a day for three to seven days.
Every day, right after the snehan, sudation, or sweating, is known as svedana. To further help the person release the toxins from their body, a herbal mixture may be added to the steam.Svedana liquefies the toxins and increases the movement of toxins into the gastrointestinal tract.
The doshas become well "ripened" after snehan and svedana for three to seven days. Next, a specific panchakarma procedure is prescribed based on the individual's prakriti (body constitution) and vikruti (disorder)
